I am searching for a town in Western Germany. My father's unit was stationed there for about 2 weeks in 1945. The information I have is that they drove 43 miles from Verviers Belgium to get to Freidenau, and they drove 63 miles from Freidenau to Kretz Germany. Based on comments my Dad has made I believe it may be near Aachen.
Any help, or leads would be appreciated. Thanks.
