I always buy a Rost Bratwurst when I first arrive in Germany. I have mustard (senf), potato salad (kartolfel salad) and a roll (brotchen). This is except if it's morning then I have a cold breakfast, which includes breakfast cold cuts, cheese, and rolls (kaltes fruhstuck). Whatever your choice you will enjoy the foods of Germany. For dinner try Schnitzel, or Roladen. Also understand that many ethnic restaurants exist throughout Germany. The best Greek Restaurant I have ever been to was in Olsterholz-Scharmbeck in northern Germany. Just have fun!
